I’m an average chic finding her way in this world No really, I’m just a chic with the desire to participate in a triathlon. I may not always participate as much as I like, but I do follow the sport fairly closely during the season!
I’m a daughter, sister, and friend to many. As one who use to be a work out fiend (well close to it), I’m trying to find my way back. Though it’s been more years than I care to count, I’m trying to use triathlon as a way to regain my fitness. In 2009 I attempted the Atlanta area Iron Girl sprint. Attempted may or may not be the best word for it, but the details about my adventure can be read here. Then in 2011 I participated in another sprint down in Galveston which can also be read about here. Biggest difference between the two is I actually did a little training (and I stress little, nowhere near appropriate though) and finished all aspects of the Lonestar Sprint. Recommendation – always train
P.S. I’ve got the gear, at least I can look like I know what I’m doing
